Here's the scoop for those who haven't seen it: a Shanghai woman is having her Chevy Captiva SUV towed, and she isn't happy about it. So she does what any (insane) person would do: gets in her car, starts the engine and drives off...with the tow truck still attached.

SPY SHOTS: 2011 Chevrolet / Holden Captiva SUV with Aveo-esque Fascia

Chevrolet's European arm is moving along with the development of the facelifted Captiva that's due to go on sale on the other side of the Atlantic later this year. Judging by these spy photos, if not all, most changes appear to be concentrated on the SUV's redesigned front end that looks heavily influenced from the Aveo RS concept we saw at this year's Detroit show.

Details remain scarce for now, but it is possible that Chevy might also perform some upgrades to the 2011 Captiva's interior and mechanical hardware.

Chevrolet Captiva MOONLANDER Limited Edition Model

So you're probably wondering what's the deal with Chevrolet's special edition Captiva SUV. Well, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing that occurred on July 20, 1969, Chevrolet Europe's official supplier of LPG systems, "Fahrmitgas" decided to launch a special version of the Opel Antara-based Captiva SUV dubbed MOONLANDER that will be produced in a limited run of 40 units.

Available exclusively in a white finish with black details, the Captiva MOONLANDER comes with numerous graphics inspired from the iconic Apollo 11 mission as well as mirror-like tints for the rear passenger and tailgate windows plus 20-inch alloy wheels in 245/20 tires and a lowering kit that drops the suspension by 35 millimeters.

The only modification in the interior concerns the addition of a special numbered plaque on the center console.

The Captiva MOONLANDER is available in Germany with two LPG capable powerplants, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol with 136HP (FWD) and a 3.2-liter V6 petrol that makes 230HP (4WD). Prices start from €25,590.

For the record, the shiny spacesuits aren't included in the package but Fahrmitgas will throw in a mini-replica of an astronaut along with an iPod just to sweeten the deal.
